Embed the CS2 3D Viewer on your website

Create your account in the dashboard, make the viewer match your brand and add one iframe to your site. Everything starts with your existing SteamWebAPI login.

01 / Account

Register once in your dashboard

Sign in to SteamWebAPI and open Dashboard → CS2 3D View. Select Create viewer account. Your SteamID becomes your panel username, and your public viewer key appears in the same tab.

Save the panel password displayed after registration. It is shown only once. On later visits, your username, viewer keys, panel link and usage remain available; you can request a new password when needed.

Set your branding in the cs2screen panel

Use Open cs2screen panel in the dashboard and sign in with your viewer username and password. Configure your logo, colors and other available viewer settings there.

Custom branding is free until 31 December 2026 and becomes a €20 per month add-on from 1 January 2027 — see pricing below.

Add the websites where you intend to embed the viewer to the panel's domain allowlist. When moving from a preview site to your live site, check that the live domain is allowed too. The panel is the place to manage branding and domains.

Copy the iframe into your website

Back in the dashboard, paste a Steam inspect link into the viewer-key section. Select Copy iframe, then paste the snippet into your page's HTML or an HTML embed block in your site builder.

The key value is your public viewer key, which starts with pk_. The inspectlink value identifies the CS2 item. If you build the URL yourself, URL-encode the complete inspect link as one query parameter; the dashboard handles this for you.

Keep your panel password private. Your SteamWebAPI API key is not needed in the iframe. Test the embed on an allowed domain, then adjust its height to suit your page layout.

04 / Usage

Check activity from the dashboard

The CS2 3D View tab shows activity across your viewer keys. Choose a UTC date range and review served, prepared, cached, customize and rejected requests. Customize requests are already included in served requests.

These are request counts, not unique visitors. Recent activity may arrive late, results are cached for five minutes and older data may expire. Use them to understand viewer activity, not as billing records.

If a key does not work, check its status in the dashboard and its allowed websites in the panel. An expired eligible plan pauses viewer access while preserving your account and settings.

Custom branding is free until the end of 2026

Until 31 December 2026, every eligible plan includes full custom branding: your logo, watermark, interface theme and background, with no “powered by” line.

From 1 January 2027, the viewer itself stays included in your plan at no extra cost with the standard branding. Custom branding becomes an add-on for €20 per month on top of your plan. If you do not add it, your viewer keeps working and switches to the standard branding.

Customers on high-volume plans will be contacted individually with an enterprise offer.

Common setup questions

Do I need to write an API integration?

No. Create your viewer account once in the SteamWebAPI dashboard, configure it in the cs2screen panel and copy the iframe into your website. No SDK or provisioning API integration is needed.

Which plans include the CS2 3D Viewer?

The viewer is included in active SteamWebAPI plans except Free and Free+, and viewer traffic does not consume SteamWebAPI API credits. Where do I change my logo or allowed domains?

Open the cs2screen panel from your dashboard. Appearance, branding and allowed websites are managed there. The SteamWebAPI dashboard holds your account details, viewer keys and usage.

What happens if my plan expires?

Viewer access is paused while your account, settings and panel access remain available. An eligible renewal restores access automatically, except for separate provider restrictions. Viewer access changes can take up to 60 seconds after confirmation to reach cached viewers.

Can I recover my panel password?

SteamWebAPI does not store your panel password. Request a new one in the CS2 3D View dashboard tab. This replaces the old password and ends existing panel sessions without changing your viewer keys.
